About the Categories...
Site:
These are screenshots of web sites that I have built (or have contributed to building) for a client. The details will be in the corresponding description of each.
Engineer's Notebook:
These are scans of my personal notebook used to work out algorithms or map out details of problems in web development or computer science. I wrote in these notebooks every day on-the-job when I freelanced in L.A., and I have kept thousands of pages at my office. I thought it would be insightful to put some of the more memorable pages here in the gallery. If you need more help understanding the content of the image, please refer to the corresponding description.
Artwork:
These are screenshots of my independent art pieces that were used to accompany a digital piece like software, a game, a simulation, or animation. I excel in making highly-textured, realistic art for user interfaces and environments. And, during my journey over the past few years, I have also found that I am proficient in creating 3D models for games, simulation, and computer animation. More information is available in the corresponding description.
Application:
These are screenshots of web or desktop applications that I have built. Some are deployed on a web server, but may not fall in the "Site" category. These apps are data-driven and stateful, and are usually built with Flash, Flex, or Unity - or with C or Java. More information about the app is in the description.
Fun:
This category includes photos of things not necessarily related to web or software development. These depict the "lighter" subjects around the studio - put here just for fun. The description can explain the photo.
